Treatment options for distal radius fractures are usually determined based on the type and severity of the fracture. The following are common treatment options. 1.Conservative treatment is suitable for non-displaced or slightly displaced fractures. Treatment options include (1) the use of a cast or an adjustable external fixator to immobilize the fracture site to maintain stability at the fracture site. (2) The position of the fracture is corrected by external traction and then fixed with plaster. 2.Surgical treatment is suitable for patients with severe displacement,open fracture,multiple fractures or other injuries.(1) The fracture is reduced,and the fracture fragments are repositioned to the correct position during the operation. (3) Functional training is the training of daily living skills,such as holding a pen,holding chopsticks,wearing buttons,etc.
