Cetrek acetate
Sitrek acetate is a synthetic decapeptide, which is mainly used in assisted fertility technology to prevent premature ovulation in patients with controlled ovarian stimulation. Sitrek acetate is also commonly known as sitrek. Sitrek is a gonadotropin-releasing Chemicalbook releasing hormone (GnRH) antagonist. It can competitively bind to receptors on pituitary membrane with endogenous LHRH, thereby inhibiting pituitary secretion of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) in a dose-dependent manner.
